Stromberg Architectural manufactured massive Tuscan columns in Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete. At 32′ in height and 4′ in diameter, they set a solid, substantial look to the building. The GFRC columns were produced and erected in split halves around a central steel structural column. Also selected were G-22 Cast Stone balustrade for the ground level and GFRC balustrade for elevated areas and the roof parapet. The complete balustrade assembly for this project, included W 10 balustrade rails and G-22 balusters. In addition to these materials, B.A.S.F. chose Jeffersonian Cast Stone planters, cast stone and GFRC wall panels, fountains, parapet, trim, benches and lintels to round out their design.
